The Wheel of Fortune show that aired on Thursday was exceptional.
In the toss-up round of the game show, one of the competitors blurted out a highly offensive response, shocking Pat Sajak as well as the other competitors and viewers.
The competitors were given the following: “_ _ _ _ I_ T_E B_ _T!” The category was “phrase.”
Tavaris, from Port St. Lucie, Florida, called in a few seconds with an estimate.
“In the exact butt?” He speculated, not appearing to realize that the first term he was searching for only had four letters instead of five.
The crowd and the other contenders also sent out audible gasps and giggles at his remark.
After pausing for a while, Sajak answered, “No.”
Thank goodness, Blake, another competitor, called in a few seconds later and said, “This is the best.”
Following his amusing retort, Sajak inquired about Tavaris’s condition when it came time to introduce the players, telling the competitor, “You’ve already made an impression on us.”
“We’ll figure out a way to handle that tastefully,” Sajak said, to Tavaris’ “I apologize, but I was a little excited.” Though I’m not sure what it will entail,
The graphic event occurs a few days after it was made public that Sajak’s last Wheel of Fortune program had a scheduled air date.
Oh my goodness! This will undoubtedly go down in Wheel of Fortune history as one of the funniest moments ever.
